Welcome to Year Five

Hello everyone. I am Miss Simmons- the Year 5 Class Teacher. In Year Five, it is our aim to ensure that every child feels valued and has the opportunity to learn in a safe and welcoming classroom where they are able to express themselves confidently.
We ensure all of our children achieve their full potential through engaging and fun ways of learning as well as encouraging them to develop their independence, resilience and organisation skills.
All children will receive a high level of support in order to help them reach their goals and to develop both academically and personally.   • PE kit needs to be worn to school on a Tuesday (white t-shirt, navy/black shorts or trousers)
  • Homework will be set on Google Classrooms every Friday and is due the following Friday.
  • Children will be given spellings and times tables to practise and learn.
