After School Clubs
All enquiries for before/ after school provison should be directed to the school office.
Breakfast Club opens every morning at 8am and costs just £1.50. Providing they arrive no later than 8.30am, pupils can enjoy a healthy breakfast from a selection of cereals, toast and juice etc. There are a range of activities on offer before pupils are escorted to their classrooms at 8.40am for registration.
After School Clubs
At Parklands Community Primary School, we are also pleased to offer a range of after school clubs and activities.
Clubs, organised by school staff and external partners, offer Parklands pupils the chance to try different indoor and outdoor activities and sports opportunities. Children can also learn new skills like baking and gardening.
Homework Club for Key Stage two pupils provides additional support and access to ICT resources to help children do the best with their homework.
The clubs we offer at Parklands are reviewed on a termly basis.
Clubs that can be on offer but can vary each term include:
- Active Kids (Rec-Y6)
- Multisports Club (Y3-Y6)
- Gardening Club (Y3-Y6)
- Challenge & Book Club (Y3 – Y6)
- Baking Club (Y6) *
- Dance Club (Y1- Y2)
The After School Club timetable provides further information about the clubs taking place each day. All clubs above are charged at £1.50 per session
*An additional £10 is payable to secure a place in baking club (to cover the cost of ingredients).
In addition to these clubs, your child may also be invited to attend:
- Earlybird Phonics
- Literacy booster club
- Maths booster Club,
- The Digital Leaders Team
As the above clubs are designed to provide enrichment, support or additional challenge to targeted pupils, no charge is made to attend.
All children must be collected from clubs at 4.30pm prompt. Children will be dismissed via the double doors on the infant playground. Many thanks for your co-operation with this.
