Year 1 2022 - 2023

Welcome to Year 1

In Year 1, we recognise and understand the need for children to feel safe and secure, especially when making the transition from Reception. We strive to ensure that children are provided with a variety of engaging, creative and memorable learning experiences that are accessible for each and every child. All children are encouraged and supported to reach their full potential, ensuring individuality and talent is celebrated and valued. We aim for our children to be confident, curious and independent learners who are determined to be the best that they can be.

Our teacher in Year 1 is Miss Edwards who is supported by an incredible team of support staff. We have Teaching Assistants Mrs Cox, Miss Edge and Mrs Jenkins. PPA cover is covered by Mrs Barnsley on a Wednesday afternoon.
