Our School Values

We teach children to become successful, independent learners for life.

We deliver an excellent education which will equip the children with the skills and knowledge they need for the next stage of their learning. Be Independent – Autumn 1

We take responsibility for our own learning, behaviour and choices.

This means we will:

Be Respectful – Spring 1

We are respectful towards all people and property. We are tolerant, caring and considerate at all times.

Be Responsible – Spring 2

We will take ownership and be accountable for our learning and behaviour.

This means we will all:

  • be organised and be accountable for resources, learning and behaviour
  • take ownership for our own actions
  • accept that we are in charge of our future

Be Resilient – Summer 1

We will learn from our mistakes and persevere when challenges occur.

This means we will:

  • find ways to overcome barriers at home and in school
  • value mistakes and use them to be inquisitive and have a positive attitude to learning
  • keep on trying; we never give up

Be Ambitious – Summer 2

We will strive to do our best and have high expectations.

This means we will:

  • understand the opportunities that the world has to offer
  • work hard in school to give us the best opportunities for our future
