At Parklands we see the potential in every child and are proud of all of our children. Education changes lives and we have high expectations for all our pupils. Our team work hard to deliver opportunities for children to exceed their own expectations and believe in themselves in a way that they might never have thought possible.
We seek to ensure this through a broad education focused on academic success, excellence in terms of care and welfare, and ensuring their talents and achievements are recognised. When children leave our school, we want them to be excited about the opportunities that exist for them and have the confidence and skills vital for success in life. Each half-term we focus on one of our school values: independence, cooperation, respect, responsibility, resilience & ambition. Our ethos promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different beliefs.
We want our children to be the best they can be and have three clear school rules to be: Ready, Respectful and Safe. We provide a caring and safe environment for your child and safeguarding is paramount. The school’s governing board, SENCo and learning mentors are very supportive.
New to Parklands?
Choosing the right school for your child is crucial. We firmly believe that Parklands offers an excellent education and we always welcome visits from prospective parents, so that we can share with you our passion for learning and our commitment to our children and their families.
You will find members of staff approachable and appointments can be made easily should you wish to see a teacher for longer than a moment or two at the beginning or end of a day.
